I taught myself to bind books when I was about 23. I have made my own sketchbooks and watercolor journals since. Lately, I have also made altered books and junk journals. There’s something very satisfying about making a book that you can then use as a daily journal, an art journal, a scrapbook, a trip journal; there are so many ways to use books.
